Discipline With Purpose

We believe that the purpose of discipline is to help children become self-directed adults whose standards of conduct reflect love of self and love of neighbor. We also believe that, just like academic skills, social and behavioral skills can and should be explicitly modeled, taught and assessed as part of a well-rounded education.

In order to nurture and promote self-discipline in our school community, we explicitly model and teach fifteen self-discipline skills as outlined in the national Discipline With Purpose program.
