Extracurricular Activities

Risen Christ knows the importance of enhancing your child’s educational journey beyond the classroom. That is why we have partnered with a variety of community organizations to provide engaging and enriching extracurricular activities for students.

Urban Debate League

Partnering with Augsburg University, Risen Christ students have the opportunity to join the Urban Debate League teams (Spanish and English). It is a great opportunity to engage in interesting and relevant global topics while developing public speaking and critical thinking skills.

Yearbook Club

Join the Yearbook Club and make your memories last! Yearbook Club meets weekly during the school year to prepare an annual yearbook. This provides a variety of roles for students that build upon writing, communication and graphic design skills. Students have access to Lifetouch tools to customize the yearbook from scratch.

COMPAS Artist Residencies

All middle school students have the opportunity to learn from COMPAS Artists. Visiting the school for several weeks, Risen Christ students have the opportunity to participate in immersive, hands-on projects led by professional artists from all over the world during the school day.

Expanded Food and Nutrition Program

Risen Christ partners with the University of Minnesota to provide a series of hands-on, interactive lessons on cooking, grocery budgeting and exercise after school. Join the program to learn the skills and behaviors necessary to choose healthier food, eat healthier food, stretch a grocery budget, handle food safely and increase physical activity.
