It’s a proud and bittersweet moment as we sent off our 34-member Class of 2026, which graduated on Tuesday, June 2, at Church of the Incarnation. We are so proud of these bilingual graduates! The Class of 2026 leaves behind a legacy of faith, perseverance, and leadership—and we look forward to seeing all they accomplish in high school and beyond.
As they leave Risen Christ, these students carry with them the faith, values, and sense of community that have shaped their journey. Allison shared,
“I grew closer to Christ during my time here at Risen Christ. Every time I heard the word of the Lord at church I could hear Him calling me.”
Mateo echoed the importance of community, saying,
“We learned that no one has to face challenges alone. There are always friends, teachers, and families willing to support us. That is one of the reasons why Risen Christ feels like home: because here we are accepted for who we are, helped to grow, and reminded that God is with us every step of the way.”
Our youngest graduates also reached an exciting milestone as they celebrated kindergarten graduation. Throughout the year, these students built foundational academic and social skills while also growing in confidence, curiosity, and faith. Now, they’re ready to take the next big step—first grade!
While we are celebrating milestones, all 300 students at Risen Christ had reason to celebrate this spring! Shortly before the end of the year, all students gathered in the gymnasium for the Achievement Assembly, recognizing the outstanding academic achievements of our students. The biggest accomplishments were collective: At the start of the year, our goal was for students to raise their MAP testing scores by 5 percentage points in Math, English reading, and Spanish reading. By the end of the year, students exceeded those goals, improving by a phenomenal 11 percentage points in Math, 8 in English reading, and 9 in Spanish reading!

Celebramos los logros académicos y despedimos a nuestros nuevos graduados
Es un momento de orgullo y de sabor agridulce al despedir a nuestra promoción de 2026, compuesta por 34 alumnos, que se graduó el martes 2 de junio en la Iglesia de la Encarnación. ¡Estamos muy orgullosos de estos graduados bilingües! La promoción de 2026 deja tras de sí un legado de fe, perseverancia y liderazgo, y estamos deseando ver todo lo que lograrán en sus estudios de secundaria y más allá.
Al dejar Risen Christ, estos alumnos se llevan con ellos la fe, los valores y el sentido de comunidad que han marcado su trayectoria. Allison comentó:
«Me acerqué más a Cristo durante mi estancia aquí en Risen Christ. Cada vez que escuchaba la palabra del Señor en la iglesia, podía oír cómo me llamaba».
Mateo se hizo eco de la importancia de la comunidad, diciendo:
«Hemos aprendido que nadie tiene que afrontar los retos solo. Siempre hay amigos, profesores y familiares dispuestos a apoyarnos. Esa es una de las razones por las que Risen Christ se siente como un hogar: porque aquí se nos acepta tal y como somos, se nos ayuda a crecer y se nos recuerda que Dios está con nosotros en cada paso del camino».
Nuestros graduados más jóvenes también alcanzaron un logro emocionante al celebrar su graduación de kínder. A lo largo del año, estos estudiantes desarrollaron habilidades académicas y sociales fundamentales, al tiempo que crecieron en confianza, curiosidad y fe. Ahora están listos para dar el siguiente gran paso: ¡primer grado!
Mientras celebramos los logros alcanzados, ¡los 300 alumnos de Risen Christ tuvieron motivos para celebrar esta primavera! Poco antes de que terminara el año, todos los alumnos se reunieron en el gimnasio para la Asamblea de Logros, en la que se reconocieron los destacados logros académicos de nuestros alumnos. Los mayores logros fueron colectivos: A principios de año, nuestro objetivo era que los alumnos mejoran sus calificaciones en las pruebas MAP en 5 puntos porcentuales en matemáticas, lectura en inglés y lectura en español. Al final del año, los alumnos superaron esos objetivos, ¡logrando una mejora fenomenal de 11 puntos porcentuales en matemáticas, 8 en lectura en inglés y 9 en lectura en español!
