Student Outcomes

Since 1993, Risen Christ has served as the first step of a student’s educational journey, laying a strong foundation for both academic and personal success. Our Mission Impact study celebrates the remarkable achievements of our graduates and the enduring impact of their Risen Christ education.

Focusing on alumni who graduated between 2015 and 2019, the majority were Hispanic (86%), qualified for Free/Reduced Lunch (91%) and received English Language Learner (ELL) services (82%) while attending Risen Christ. We successfully surveyed or reconnected with 130 (67%) of the 194 total alumni who graduated within the five class years, gaining valuable insights into their educational pursuits and achievements after venturing beyond Risen Christ.

Our findings show that Risen Christ alumni are significantly more likely to graduate from high school within four years and pursue college compared to their peers in Minneapolis and statewide, highlighting the school’s role in fostering academic success.

The high school graduation rate for sampled Risen Christ alumni is 100%, a much higher rate than Hispanic, Free/Reduced Lunch and English Language Learner (ELL) students across Minnesota and in Minneapolis Public Schools. This indicates that Risen Christ provides a strong educational pathway to high school graduation for students.

The college enrollment rate is 81% for sampled Risen Christ alumni, a higher rate than Hispanic, Free/Reduced Lunch and English Language Learner (ELL) students across Minnesota and in Minneapolis Public Schools, further exemplifying the educational foundation that Risen Christ provides for students.
