Recently, students were rising together to celebrate the many cultures that make our community special. Our Hispanic Heritage Celebration was a joyful reminder of the diversity that enriches the Risen Christ community. We are blessed to serve students and staff from many countries around the world, especially from Latin America.

During the celebration, each class shared traditional songs and dances while representing different countries. Through music and performance, our students had the opportunity to honor their heritage and cheer one another on. From Mexico and Ecuador to Guatemala and beyond, each performance offered a glimpse into the traditions that make our community so rich.

These celebrations help students appreciate one another’s backgrounds while recognizing the connection that brings us together. That same diversity is reflected in the flowers featured in the mural pictured at the bottom of this newsletter.

We invite you to share in the celebration by checking out the “What Country Do You Represent” video and photos below!
